  • This condition can cause male infertility.

Low Sperm Count
(Oligospermia)

8
  • Oligospermia is defined as decreased numbers of sperms in the semen (less than 15 million sperms/ml).
  • Low sperm count is caused by various viral or bacterial injections, hormonal imbalances, injuries or surgeries to the testicular area, ejaculatory problems and many more.
  • In this condition, achieving pregnancy naturally may be a challenge.

Low Sperm Motility
(Asthenospermia)

8
  • Asthenospermia is defined as less than 40% sperm motility (the ability of sperm to move).
  • There are many causes of asthenospermia like the inflammatory disease of the sperm duct, varicocele, immunological factors, chromosome defects, etc.
  • It impacts male fertility directly and can reduce the chances of conception because sperm is unable to reach the egg in the female’s reproductive tract.

Poor Sperm Morphology
(Teratospermia)

  • Teratospermia means an increase in abnormal sperm morphology (shape). The defect may be either in the head, body, or tail.

Polycystic Ovarian Disease

8
  • PCOD is a medical condition in which the women’s ovaries produce immature or partially mature ovum in large numbers and over time this ovum becomes cysts.

Low AMH level (Low ovarian reserve)

8
  • Less than 1ng/ml is considered a low AMH level.
  • The causes of low AMH are as follows:
    • Age, Endometriosis, Genetic factors, Auto-immune diseases, Smoking, Pollution, and Obesity.
  • Chances of pregnancy may increase if you take a healthy and nutritious diet, do adequate exercise, yoga, and pranayama, and prefer ayurvedic medicines.
